Get Through Signup Without Guessing

This page walks you through each part of the signup form: public calendar link (ICS), service selection, mileage rules, and what shows on your landing page.

Make Google Calendar Public (Read-Only)

You need a public iCal/ICS link so we can automatically block out times when you’re busy. We recommend sharing free/busy only when possible.

  • 1
Open Google Calendar on desktop (easiest), click the gearSettings.
    Mobile app hides some settings.
  • 2
On the left, pick the calendar you use for appointments under Settings for my calendars.
  • 3
Click Access permissions for events (or similar wording). Enable Make available to public.
  • 4
Set visibility to show only availability if possible: choose See only free/busy (hide details) (if you see this option).
  • 5
Find Integrate calendar → copy the Public address in iCal format. It should look like: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/.../public/basic.ics
Tip: If you do not see “Public address in iCal format”, the calendar usually isn’t public yet, or you’re viewing a calendar you don’t own.

Test Your ICS Link

Before pasting into signup, confirm it works without signing in.

  • 1
    Open an incognito/private browser window.
  • 2
Paste your ICS link into the address bar and press Enter.
  • 3
Expected result: it downloads a file or shows calendar text. If it asks you to log in, the calendar is not public.
Common issue: Copying the “Secret address in iCal format” instead of the Public address. The “Secret” link may work for you but not for your customers/system.

Services, Duration & Price

Select the services you offer. For each selected service, enter: Duration (minutes) and Price ($).

  • 1
In the right panel, check the services you offer. When selected, the Duration and Price inputs appear.
  • 2
Duration must be greater than 0. Price can be 0 (example: if you only charge travel).
Tip: Keep durations realistic. Your booking flow will use this to prevent overlaps.

Free Miles + Per Mile Charge

This sets how travel fees work on your landing page and booking logic. You enter free miles, then a per mile charge after that.

  • 1
Set Free Mileage Distance to the miles you include at no charge (example: 10).
  • 2
Set Per Mile Charge to what you charge after free miles (example: 1.50).
  • 3
You can set either value to 0 (but it must be a valid number).
Note: Your street address is used only to calculate mileage—customers won’t see it.

Address Privacy

Your full address is private. The landing page may show: your name, phone, email, and your service area (based on miles + ZIP).

  • 1
We store your address to compute mileage and travel fees.
  • 2
Customers book using your public page; they will not see your street address.
Tip: If you want to meet in public locations only, you can still do that—your address remains hidden.

Publish Troubleshooting

The Publish button stays disabled until required items are complete.

  • 1
Make sure required fields are filled: Name, Commission State, Email, Phone, Address, ZIP, Mileage fields, and your Bio.
  • 2
Select at least 1 service and set a valid duration and price.
  • 3
Paste a valid ICS URL and check the box confirming the link is public.
If Publish still won’t enable: Open the signup page, click Save Draft, then refresh. Some browsers block local storage in strict/privacy modes.
