Google User Data Access
MyNotaryDashboard.com uses Google OAuth to allow notaries to connect their Google Calendar for scheduling synchronization.
With the user's explicit authorization, the application accesses:
- Calendar availability (free/busy time blocks)
- Permission to create calendar events for booked appointments
- Permission to update events if an appointment is rescheduled
- Permission to delete events if an appointment is canceled
The application does not access or read:
- Event titles created outside of the platform
- Event descriptions
- Attendees lists (except for the customer tied to the booked appointment)
- Event notes
- Gmail content
- Google Drive files
- Contacts
- Any other Google services
We access only the minimum calendar information required to provide scheduling functionality.
How We Use Google Calendar Data
Google Calendar data is used exclusively to:
- Display real-time availability to customers booking notary appointments
- Prevent double-booking
- Create new calendar events when appointments are scheduled
- Update events when appointments are rescheduled
- Remove events when appointments are canceled
We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or resale.
Google user data is used solely to provide the core booking and scheduling functionality of MyNotaryDashboard.com.
Data Retention & Deletion
Google Calendar data accessed through OAuth is retained only as long as necessary to provide scheduling services.
If a user disconnects Google Calendar access or cancels their MyNotaryDashboard subscription:
- OAuth tokens are revoked or deleted
- Stored Google-related data is permanently removed from our systems
- Users may request full data deletion at any time by emailing support@mynotarydashboard.com
Upon verified deletion request, user data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Users may also revoke Google access directly from their Google Account permissions page at: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Data Storage & Protection
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect user data, including:
- HTTPS encryption in transit
- Secure server environments
- Restricted access controls
- Environment-based credential storage
- OAuth token encryption and secure storage
OAuth access tokens are stored securely and are never exposed publicly.
We follow the principle of least privilege when requesting Google API scopes.
Data Sharing
MyNotaryDashboard.com does not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties.
Google user data is only processed within our secure application environment to provide scheduling services.
We do not transfer Google user data to advertisers, data brokers, or external marketing platforms.
Data is processed and stored using secure hosting infrastructure providers solely for application functionality.
